Supporting The LSO
Since its inception, the Londontowne Symphony Orchestra has been bringing you the excitement and passion that only live music can create. You can help make the music happen by contributing to our effort. Whether it be a financial contribution or volunteering your time and energy, you should know that the LSO plays on only because of the loyalty and support of our audience, our grantors, our sponsors, and our generous donors.
The LSO, which is a 501(c)(3) corporation, now has two primary methods for our patrons to support the Orchestra’s mission financially: Annual Gifts and the LSO Endowment Fund. While contributions through Annual Gifts specifically support the LSO’s current needs, the Endowment Fund will provide important financial underpinning and a secure financial stream for the Orchestra in perpetuity and may even entitle donors to certain financial advantages.
BE SURE TO CHECK WITH YOUR TAX ADVISOR REGARDING THE EFFECT OF ANY DONATION ON YOUR INDIVIDUAL SITUATION.
TWO GREAT WAYS TO SUPPORT THE LSO
Annual contributions help the LSO maintain a balanced budget and allow us to achieve our mission to present professional, memorable symphonic music, and offer varied programming throughout Anne Arundel County and Central Maryland. Through your generosity, we continue to strengthen our region’s arts and cultural community and to fulfill our commitment to you. Use the donation form on this page to give.
If you have any questions or concerns about any tax effects of your donation to the LSO, please consult your tax advisor.
LSO Endowment Fund
The LSO is pleased to announce the creation of the Londontowne Symphony Orchestra Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County (CFAAC). Growth of the LSO Endowment Fund will provide important financial underpinning and a secure financial stream for the orchestra in perpetuity. Donations made to this fund will be managed by Mason Advisory Investment Services. LSO’s Fund is managed according to CFAAC’s Investment Policy Statement and invested in the Foundation’s Long-Term Growth pool, providing maximum return with reasonable financial risk.
